Self-exclusion is a facility for those that have decided they want to stop gambling and wish to be supported in their decision to stop. If you think you are spending too much time or money gambling, whether online or in gambling premises, you can ask to be self-excluded from all activity for a set period of time.

At St Michaels Hospice lottery, we are aware that lottery members may wish to exclude themselves from our weekly lottery draws. We are able to assist members to do this at any time, all you need to do is complete our self-exclusion form below.

I have a gambling problem and therefore wish to be excluded immediately from all of St Michael's Hospice's gambling related activities, including receiving any gambling related marketing materials from St Michael's Hospice, for a minimum period of:

Following our successful completion of your self-exclusion request:

The minimum period for self-exclusion will be six months, with the maximum initial period being set at 12 months. You (the supporter) may then choose to self-exclude for further six-month periods as required. The self-exclusion will stay in place for seven years (beyond the final period chosen by you, the supporter) unless you take positive action to restart your subscriptions in person or by telephone.
St Michael's Hospice will not send you any gambling related marketing materials, unless and until you specifically request us to do so.

In the Financial Year 2023/2024, the likelihood of winning a prize in our weekly lottery draw was 1 in 157.

The likelihood of winning a prize with one of our scratch cards is 1 in 4.98.

For every £1 played in our lottery (2023/2024), 56p goes to St Michael’s Hospice (the legal requirement is at least 20p), 18p goes into the prize fund and 26p covers our administration, promotion and legal regulation. Our running costs are kept as low as possible in order to hand over the maximum amount to the Hospice that we can.
