St Michael’s Hospice Lottery are delighted to introduce their range of scratch card wedding favours, which are sure to add a touch of fun to celebration tables. The wedding favour holders are available in a choice of white or Kraft brown, with a Hospice scratch card attached for just £1.50 each. Alternatively, you can buy scratch cards without the holders and envelopes for £1 each.

 

St Michael’s Hospice pin badges are also available for a suggested £1 donation (please contact us to order).

We are unable to benefit from Gift Aid on Wedding Favours, but we can boost any donations received in the last 4 tax years/and any made in the future, by 25p in every £1, if you could please sign up to Gift Aid.

To enable us to claim back tax already paid on your donations, and add 25p to every £1 you donate, please complete the Gift Aid declaration. The donation must be your own money and cannot be the proceeds of a collection. Please tick the box ‘Yes’ above to indicate that you are a UK taxpayer and would like St Michael’s Hospice to reclaim the tax on this donation, any of the donations you have made in the last four years and future donations you may make. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Please notify St Michael’s Hospice if you want to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address, no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. In the Financial Year 2023/2024, the likelihood of winning a prize in our weekly lottery draw was 1 in 157.

The likelihood of winning a prize with one of our scratch cards is 1 in 4.98.

For every £1 played in our lottery (2023/2024), 56p goes to St Michael’s Hospice (the legal requirement is at least 20p), 18p goes into the prize fund and 26p covers our administration, promotion and legal regulation. Our running costs are kept as low as possible in order to hand over the maximum amount to the Hospice that we can.
